Learner Registration

What will you do?
Learners will be expected to arrive at the venue and take register at the desk. They will have to collect their registration cards, kits and assemble at the venue.
Fabrics & Trim study
Day 1
11am - 12pm
What will you do?
Through practical & theoritical demonstration, you will know and understand the different fabrics & trims which you will also be using in your Lehangas
Introduction & Type of Lehangas
Day 1
10am - 11am
What will you do?
Learners will have a small theory session about introduction to Fashion & lehangas, the history of lehangas, their variations & modulations
Measurements & Pattern making
Day 1
12pm - 1:30pm
What will you do?
Now you will get down and learn how to take measurements of your customers and draw patterns of your first lehanga - Kali Lehanga
Lunch
Day 1

What will you do?
Here you will get along with everyone and have an amazing lunch before you start your power packed practical session
Circular Skirt - Pattern & Cutting
Day 1
2:30pm - 3:30pm
What will you do?
Now you will get on to your next lehanga which is the circular lehanga and learn how to make its pattern as well as cut it.
Waist Band Application
Day 1
4:30pm - 5:30pm
What will you do?
As now we have learnt all the lehangas, now you will learn about different types of waist bands and how do they work in the lehangas you are making,
Tiered Lehanga - Pattern & Cutting
Day 1
3:30pm - 4:30pm
What will you do?
Now you will move on to your next lehanga design and design your Tiered Lehanga as well as learn the art of cutting it to your measurements.
Doubt Clarifications
Day 1
5:30pm - 6pm
What will you do?
We will now use this time to clarify any doubts we may have for day 1 and also interact with our trainers as well as other learners with chai & coffee
End of Day 1
What will you do?
Now you can go home and revise whatever you have learnt today from theory of fashion to practical pattern making, measurements, etc.
Station Setup
Day 2
9am - 10am
What will you do?
Gather around and setup your training stations along with your kit. Have a cup of team and prepare. yourself for Day 2 of this amazing Lehanga Workshop
Stitching & Finishing - Kali Lehenga
Day 2
10am - 12pm
What will you do?
You will now gather your patterns and fabrics and get ready to stitch your lehangas from your fabric and bring it to life
Tiered Lehanga Stitching
Day 2
12pm - 2pm
What will you do?
Once you finish your stitching of kali lehanga, you will now get going with the stitching of Tiered Lehanga
Lunch
Day 1
2pm - 3pm

Here you will get along with everyone and have an amazing lunch before you start your power packed practical session
Circular skirt stitching
Day 2
3pm - 4pm
What will you do?
Since now you have learnt about 2 Lehangas, you will now learn how to stitch your final lehanga which is the circular skirt lehanga
Trim & Zipper
Day 2
4pm - 5pm
What will you do?
Once you have learnt how to stitch all 3 lehangas, you will now learn how to attach different types of Trims & zippers on your lehangas
Final Result
Day 2
5pm - 6pm

Who all can participate in the workshop?
All skill levels are welcome! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced seamstress, our workshop is designed to accommodate everyone. However, you must know at least how to operate a sewing machine.

Will I get any kit for the workshop?
Yes! You will get a full bag of raw materials & accessories for the workshop. See the above section to check what all will you receive in the kit. Be on time for registrations to grab your kit and settle down early!
3.
In which language will the workshop be conducted?
The workshop will be primarily conducted in Hindi, with instructors available to assist participants who may require translation or clarification.
4.
Do I need to get any extra materials to the workshop?
We provide all necessary materials, including fabric, thread, needles, and embellishments. You don't need to bring anything unless you have specific fabric or accessories you'd like to incorporate into your design.
5.
In which language will the workshop be conducted?
The workshop will be primarily conducted in Hindi, with instructors available to assist participants who may require translation or clarification.

Should I bring my sewing machine to the workshop?
Sewing machines will be provided during the workshop

Do I need to have any prior experience in sewing or design?
No prior experience is necessary. Our instructors will guide you through each step of the process, from cutting the fabric to stitching the final seams. However, you must know at least how to operate a sewing machine.

Will there will be instructors available if I get stuck during the learning process?
Yes! Not just Ritvik but you will be having access to 3+ instructors to help you with the process

What techniques will be taught during the workshop?
The workshop covers a range of techniques, including fabric knowledge, pattern making, fabric cutting, stitching, trims application, and finishing touches.
